What 90 Million Views Taught Me About How Consumers Actually Experience Packaging

Packaging professionals evaluate materials, manufacturing, sustainability, engineering, and performance. Consumers experience packaging from a very different perspective.

Drawing from more than 90 million views across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, Allison will explore what consumers actually notice and how packaging shapes perceptions of quality, functionality, sustainability, and value.

Through real-world examples and consumer insights, the presentation will highlight common misconceptions and opportunities that can be overlooked during packaging development.

Attendees will leave with practical takeaways for using consumer behavior to inform better packaging decisions, strengthen brand loyalty, and create packaging that performs while connecting with the people who use it.
